In 2010, Ford will install a number of models of cars entertainment system Sync with a mobile broadband modem, allowing to establish a secure connection to Wi-Fi. Such a vehicle would constitute a de facto mobile hot-spot, which allows to connect wirelessly with any device supporting this feature, be it a laptop or smartphone.
