Company Transcend introduced a new solid-state hard drive SSD18M, made in 1.8-inch form factor. The new drive is characterized by the presence of interfaces eSATA and USB, it combines stylish design and ease of use and storage of data.

SSD18M – a compact device that is distinct reliability – because, unlike traditional magnetic hard drives, the SSD-drive, no moving mechanical parts, and it eliminates the risk of failures during operation under conditions of shaking and vibration. High-speed eSATA interface provides data transfer at speeds of up to 90 MB / s reading and 50 MB / s for a recording. Dimensions SSD18M constitute 80×50x12.5 mm, weight – 50 g, thus the drive will fit in the wallet. SSD18M from Transcend is available in versions with 32, 64 and 128 GB of memory.
