Nokia has patented self-charging battery
Company Nokia has filed in the U.S. Patent Office for a patent self-charging battery. The official name of the invention – "piezoelectric kinetic energy harvester» (piezoelectric kinetic energy harvester). The idea of the invention is that the battery is attached to the outer frame and isolated from it by piezoelectric elements. The result is a kinetic energy, which generates an electrical signal, "partially charging the battery. The battery is moved inside the phone on runners, which goes into the condenser. Incidentally, a similar idea is used in some models of hours, which is also recharged while driving.
