Nokia has patented a flexible display Morph

When two years ago proposed a concept phone Nokia Morph flexible screen, few believed that someday he will be on the line. Yesterday PMPToday reported that Nokia has successfully patented the technology.

What's interesting is that there is not just a flexible screen: Nokia in patent describes a way to run different applications, depending on the shape of the screen. In other words, bent to one side of the phone – run one application to another – the other, rolled in a tube – the third. The patent is a diagram describing just these three provisions:

In fairness, we note that in the patent says nothing about the phone, it is only the flexible screen. However, this shows that the Morph phone type could become reality in the near future.
