Nokia Siemens Networks plans to show at the International Congress on the mobile base station for 3G technology to support HSPA +, which allows to exchange data at speeds up to 112 Mbps. That's four times faster than the standard 21-megabit HSPA +, which was made possible through the use of four transmitters instead of one. Manufacturer claims that this equipment is more balanced load and better use of the range of communication.

Technology quad transmitter is included in the standard 3GPP Release 10, which has not yet found a mass application. New equipment can easily be deployed on existing operating base stations Nokia Siemens. In a quad, the company will also offer 3G-double module at 56 Mbps. Its sales will begin in the first half of this year.

We speak about the transition to LTE, a fourth-generation standard, however, HSPA + could give 3G a second wind, which is particularly attractive to those operators who can not yet afford to move to 4G. Now HSPA + is planning to move the U.S. T-Mobile, and AT & T wants to immediately implement the 4G, but only in the next year.
