LG has unveiled the first smartphone with dual-core processor
The LG confirmed the existence of Star smartphone based on dual-core chip Tegra 2 by NVIDIA. True, it will be sold under the name Optimus 2X, at least on the domestic market in Korea. Thus, it is the first smartphone with dual-core processor. Its frequency is 1 GHz, and the operating system – Android 2.2.

- Facial 1.3-megapixel camera with video chat;
- Rear 8-megapixel camera;
- 8 GB internal memory;
- microSDHC card slot for up to 32 GB;
- HDMI-out;
- recording and broadcasting of video in 1080p;
- technology support content transmission DLNA;
- gyroscope;
- Battery capacity 1500 mAh.
In LG promises that soon will be updated versions of Android to 2.3. Sales Optimus 2X will begin in Korea in January next year, sell it to SK Telecom. Then the novelty will come to Asia and Europe.
