Traffic from the iPad has caught up with Android, and BlackBerry
Apple has officially announced that the first week of sales iPad sold over 500 thousand pieces. Meanwhile, research firm Net Applications has made the first measurements of traffic from the new device. At the iPad has 0.04% of total Internet traffic, which corresponds to the March performance for Android and BlackBerry.
Number of Android and BlackBerry devices on the market far more than the iPad, which suggests that the owners iPad on average much more work on the web. What, in general, it is logical, given the screen size and speed.
The main search engine for iPad is Google: it holds 97.43% of all search queries. While Google's iPad is the default search settings you can change it to Yahoo, which made the whole 1.98% of users. At Bing come just 0,27% of the owners iPad.
Traffic iPhone and iPod touch is at the level of 0,6%, which is about 20 times more than the iPad.
