Prepared a new HD-video interface for mobile devices
Nokia, Samsung, Silicon Image, Sony and Toshiba announced a consortium of mobile connectivity of high-definition (Mobile High-Definition Link, MHL). The aim of the new organization will create a new standard for video and audio from mobile devices to television sets and monitors high-definition format to 1080p.
The main difference with the new specification from the existing would be the possibility of transferring power from the cable with the data. In the connector pins will be less than that would make it more compact. It will be supported by protected mode HDCP.
