Intel released the Atom platform Pine Trail
Intel officially began shipping Atom processors for the platform Pine Trail. This is the first chip Atom, created on 45-nm process technology, they consume 20% less energy than a processor for netbooks, and 50% less than for nettop. New GMA 3150 graphics core integrated into the main processor, thus reducing the footprint by 60-70% and improve productivity by accelerating the exchange of data with the CPU. External chipset in Intel official decision deals only with input-output to other system components.
In the first three processor clock speed will be 1.66 GHz, will focus on low power consumption. That the following chips: N450 for netbooks (512 KB cache L2, Peak Power – 7 W, together with the chipset); D410 for desktops (equivalent to the previous, only the peak power – 12 watts); D510 (dual-core model with double the L2 cache and a peak power of 15 W).
Systems based on Pine Trail should appear immediately before the 2010 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) January 4. This will be ASUS Eee Pc 1005P/PE, new version of Dell Mini 10, Fujitsu M380 and MH380, MSI Wind U130, U135, U140 and U160, and several systems from Lenovo and Samsung.
