Citron has invented an infrared touch screen a new type
Citron German company has developed a multi-touch display, capable of detecting pressed in 32 locations simultaneously. Most modern multisensor screens capable of recording only two touches. Display dreaMTouch is neither a resistive or capacitive: it used infrared technology that allows, according to the manufacturer, equally easy to work with a finger and stylus, and even a glove.
Unlike other similar products on the basis of infrared rays, y dreaMTouch no "blind spots" and shifts the coordinates, and the reading speed of 50 times per second.
Software that supports dreaMTouch, yet very little. Recently, interest in the technology showed the German company Elektrosil, and that is all that is known at present about the prospects of the system. Now scientists are preparing a patent application for its development, and its market introduction will begin in January next year. Then perhaps we will hear more about it.
