Philips will release Android-player GoGear Connect
Representatives of the Philips press conference was told of the forthcoming issue of the media player running Android 2.1. He will be called GoGear Connect and will be largely similar to the current flagship player Philips Muse, but in addition, will receive GPS, Wi-Fi and a bigger screen diagonal of 3.2 inches and a resolution of 480 × 320. There will also be player trackball style Nexus One, 8 GB memory card reader for microSDHC and HDMI-out, allowing to issue signals to 720p. Thus, the functionality of the player come close to the latest smartphones on Android.
Sales of new items will begin in July, and the price is still unknown.
