In Google Street View will select the best streets of Britain
In Google decided to name the three best streets of the UK in three nominations: the most picturesque street, the most fashionable street, and the best street restaurants. The competition will be attended by 50 streets of 25 cities, and the results will be fed on a mixed system: some assessment of judges, partly on the basis of open voting. To estimate the streets users are encouraged to use the service Google Street View.
Invited judges included representatives from the travel agency VisitBritain Sandy Dow (Sandie Dawe). She said: "We are very pleased to participate in this exciting project, which aims – to commemorate the streets across Britain." Also to participate in the jury invited by the famous fashion guru Brix Smart-Smith (Brix Smart-Smith) and culinary expert Henrietta Green (Henrietta Green).
Among the contenders to win the nomination of the most picturesque street number, Royal Crescent in Bath, Shembls in York, the main street in Tobermory, Mull. The best street for gourmets can be called London's Charlotte Street, Kolz in Leeds or Vilmslou Road in Manchester. In the nomination the most fashionable streets leading Bridlsmit Gate in Nottingham, Bakanaev Street in Glasgow, Kings Road and Vestborn Grove in London.
