Microsoft unexpectedly lowered the price on the Zune HD. At Amazon player now costs $ 190 for 16-GB model, which is $ 32 less than before. 32 GB model will cost a bit more expensive – at $ 250. At Microsoft's own website prices slightly higher: $ 200 and $ 270 respectively.

In a press release Microsoft said that the new prices are valid during the "sale", which certainly means that they are temporary, but when the sale is completed, not reported. The proposal is very profitable: at the same price the buyer Zune HD gets double the memory capacity than the iPod touch.
